Argentinian fine dining in an intimate space. They just built an outdoor dining area in their alley parking lot and it looks pretty fancy. Definitely check for reservations. We love their potato gnocchi and also their flank steak. We always get the garlic fries to start. Be sure to take advantage of their expert somolier!

They’ve recently moved and have takeout and delivery options only. But they still have the same menu. An establishment in this neighborhood since the 80s. I love the sizzling rice soup (but only when you eat in) and Ken loves the beef fried rice. There are so many good options though.

My new favorite modern Indian food. If you go you have to try the channa masala poutine. Their outdoor dining is on Fairfax in little booths they built up in the parking spaces

Just down the street from Badmaash this has been a popular Italian place by the guys behind Animal and Trois Mec. Their pasta is fabulous as is their pizza. Plus, they have a great wine selection.

Irv’s Burgers
7998 Santa Monica Blvd.
Irv’s closed for a bit and then reopened with a restaurateur behind them. They lost the homespun feel but the burgers are really good and they play some classic LA rock in the afternoons for lunch.
