Asian Flavor, L.A. Style

There are so many options for amazing Asian food in Los Angeles it is impossible for us to include them all on this page, and we certainly haven’t even come close to visiting them all. If you find anything we should add to our list, please let us know!

While it’s not in the same world famous location, its still the same food. They expect to open with a dine in option soon! Here’s our review…

Not only is this spot the easiest and tastiest Chinese takeout from our loft, it’s also and LA icon. Tiny music venue, legit (but mini) bar and the quintessential red leather booths round out the scene. I love the sizzling rice soup when we dine in. The beef friend rice is a family favorite.

Murakami

Our daughter’s favorite sushi bowl spot – which is good for us because it’s way less than taking her to a fancy sushi spot. They also have good sushi. Wendy likes the crispy rice with spicy tuna. Ken likes the salted scallop and the yellowtail sashimi platter.

Tatsu Ramen
7111 Melrose Ave (across from Murakami)

Easy takeout ramen. Fully customizable. Super hip. Super delicious. The pork chashu rice is one of Kens favorites. We haven’t had a bowl of ramen we didn’t like from here but we haven’t ever tried the gluten free noodles.
